As of today, we have been home for a week. Life with Finn has been great. Our little boy is so mellow and has really brought a joy into our world that we never could have imagined. We love to just sit and watch his facial expressions. He is so animated! So far, the transition to parenting has been relatively easy. Some nights he even sleeps for 4 hours at a time! I don't want to brag too much, fearing that it might come back to haunt me. But so far, so good! Thank you to all of the friends and family who have brought food and helped out with chores! Not having to think about those little details has really allowed us to focus on the most important things!
A few highlights from our week include:
   
    Finn's first doctor's visit- where it was confirmed that he is perfect! The pediatrician said he looks and acts more like a two week old. He is gaining weight and is very strong!
    Finn also had his first bath at home. He loves the water! He doesn't enjoy the being naked after-wards, but is great while being bathed.
    Spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Rankin.
   
Anyway, I will get to what everyone is waiting for and post some new pics of the little guy!
