We are now just a couple of weeks from Finn's arrival date, but he might want to come early.  I picked the 30th of September on the "Guess When Finn Will Arrive" contest.  Based on our recent cool weather he might want to stay put until spring.  I don't really think Angela would really go for that.

I have a cell phone that I sometimes use.  Recently my focus is to keep the batteries fresh, carry it everywhere I go - even keep it on and near my bed when sleeping.  We are all ready for "The Call".  I have alerted my staff that I could be gone with a moment notice - or until the next ferry leaves the island for the mainland.  I feel as though I am Batman - constantly watching the skies for the Bat Signal - ready to spring into action.  Except I don't wear a mask or tights.  Maybe I should.  Something to think about.

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, this waiting is driving me nuts.  Waiting for that freaking phone to ring is adding gray hair to my head.  And when the phone does ring - usually one of my running buddies wanting to know why I am looking so old - I jump out of my skin.

When Ammon was born he was due the first of January, but arrived the end of November.  Jennifer and I didn't have to sweat out this waiting game - Ammon was, all of a sudden, just here.  We weren't all that ready for him, but we managed and I think he turned out pretty great.

I am hoping that Mr. Finn arrives soon - cool weather or not.  He has a warm house with loving parents and a huge family that offers allot of love to keep him warm
